Probating Will without Administration

In Indiana, you can file a Petition for No Administration (Spread Will of Record) which allows the will to be probated, preserving the three year limitation in probating a will.   There is generally no filing fee for this procedure, but the original Will and the Petition and Order must be filed in the county of domicile where the person was living.    And the Will must have been executed and witness in accordance to Indiana Law to allow it to be probated as a "self-proved" Will.
